As part of the social responsibility project conducted within the scope of the Professional Ethics and Sustainable Tourism and Environment courses, students from the Tourism Guidance Department and the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department within the Faculty visited the 80th Year Children's Home and Orphanage on December 2, 2025.
The visit was coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail ÇALIK, the instructor responsible for the courses. The students participated in various activities with the children during this event, which aimed to reinforce social responsibility awareness and increase social sensitivity.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail ÇALIK stated that the visit was an important step in raising awareness among students on ethical and sustainability issues and contributing to the social development of the children.
The event concluded with the decision to continue similar activities in the coming periods as part of the project.
